Hello RipFest Cincinnati!
Any divers planning on attending San Antonio/AAU Nationals as well as overnight training trips please make sure all Team fees are paid.
Team fees are listed on the website if you aren’t sure what is owed. Team fees cover all coaches travel expenses.
I don’t want anyone who was unaware of team fees to be shocked.
Please contact me to discuss arrangements to have your team fees paid.
If your diver joined the program after 5/1/2018 team fees won’t be required till next fiscal year.
Team fees are required of all Divers.
The Travel Team fee covers 4 meets. If you have paid based on your Divers attendance at practice but will attend 4 meets the entire team fee is required.
All-This Saturday 5/19 at 2pm our Noah Vigran will be competing in the 3 meter finals at Senior Nationals. This will be televised live from Dallas, TX on NBC.We are planning a pizza party at 2pm at Jennifer Drees home. If you would like to attend, please RSVP directly back to Mrs. Drees.Jennifer Drees

Subject: ODL Champs!Hi all!
It’s finally here. The ODL meet is next weekend on May 20. Doors open at 10:30, timeline will be posted as to start of meat once entries are in.
Reminder that there is an extra $10 pool fee for this event. Level six voluntary is divers choice.
Important traffic notice: Beginning May 7 through mid-August 2018, the northbound SR-315 exit ramp to Medical Center Dr. and King Ave. will be closed. Motorists may use Goodale St. to Neil Ave. or Lane Ave. to Olentangy River Rd.
Also, we will be having a practice the night before open from 430 till 7 PM at no cost. If you would like to use belts there will be an additional charge, but let me know ahead of time as I am working to secure a person. I will be at my sons graduation (!) that evening but will see everybody on Saturday. Christine Keating from AFD will be your point person for meet questions, and Scott will be there as “lead” coach Saturday.
Please remember to send your entries as soon as you have them!
Here are the results from the last meet!
Make it a great day!

Welcome to the 2018 USA Diving Regional 6 Championships. We are excited and ready to have the best in our region compete at IUPUI!
In this email
– Schedule changes
– Judging panels
– Future Champions info
– Thursday warm ups/Morning flight/end of day warm up/open board procedures
– Saturday parking ALERT – must read
– New Diver check in procedures
1- Please note the following. Sunday all JO platform events will be a single event starting at 10.
2- Judging panels have been assigned and attached. If you see a coach listed that you know will not be attending please let me know right away so that I can rework the schedule. Hoping we will not need to make any changes 🙂 We have several uncontested events. We will be offering 3 IISD coaches for judging at the uncontested events, any coach from another team that would like to replace an IISD coach may do so just let me know. In trying to best serve the 16-18 girls and coaches 16-18 girls 1m will be 1 single panel of 7 judges. This will be optionals first as per USA Diving Rules with the number enrolled. There will be a 10 minute judging break after round 3, and at the cut at round 5. This will be the tough one to get through and we appreciate everyone’s judging availability.
14-15 girls and 16-18 boys will have 1 panel of 5 judges for both 1m and 3m events. This is due to low coach registration.
3- In case you missed it in registration, this year Region 6 is hosting Future Champions events. FC info can be found on divemeets here https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1kaQi7hfL13uR0RO_kzDMWK5vVV1zz8L6?usp=sharing Future Champion sheets are due via email by April 26th. Future Champion divers will check in and pay at the meet. We are excited to offer FC events this year and hope to see a lot of new divers there.
4- Warm ups on Wednesday will be 4-7pm. Thursday will be open all day from 9am-5pm and 6-8pm.
Competition day morning flight sign-ups will be available at the coaches meeting. Any station not running an event during the day is open for warm-ups. This can begin as soon as the final diver in that event completes their dive. End of the day warm ups will be one hour after the last event diver hits the water.
5- Saturday parking. It was brought to our attention that “Race for a Cure” is hosting an event on campus Saturday. This will cause some road closures. Please see the attached map for directions. Unfortunately, I have been told there will be no handicap accessibility for drop off at the Natatorium. There are plenty of parking lots on campus a block or two walking distance from the pool. Road closures will begin at 5:30am and conclude around 2pm. Race check in begins at 7am, race begins at 9am. All campus parking will be available this day. Please plan in advance to park, walk and arrive to the pool on time. No events will be postponed for late divers.
6- New this year for Athlete check in and dive changes.

After the times above and until 3 hours prior to the scheduled start of the event, athletes may still make changes to their dive sheets online at a cost of $15 per event.
3. Once the meet progresses within the 3 hour mark before the scheduled event start, the Meet Director/Computer Operator, may download the EVENT to the computer to begin their pre-event preparations.
